Shattered Moon

Where the Hunter and the Hunted share the same table...

About Us

There are places spoken of only in passing—quiet houses where the road-weary gather and the night lingers a little longer. Beneath the fractured light of the Shattered Moon stands one such tavern. Hunters, wanderers, scholars… and things less easily named all pass through its doors. Within these walls, old wards hold and fragile peace is kept. So long as the rules of the house are honored, all may share the same table.

Rules of the House

Before stepping beneath the fractured light of the Shattered Moon, travelers would do well to remember the laws that keep this house standing. They are simple, but they are not suggestions.1. No blood is to be spilled within these walls.
The wards that bind this place are old and unforgiving. Violence against other guests will see you removed...swiftly. Leave your grudges at the door.
2. Respect the staff and their word.
The house runs because its keepers maintain order. Their decisions are final within these halls.
3. Stable your steed. While we've room for all sorts of beasts and strange creatures, we ask you leave your horses, chocobos, etc stabled outside and if you bring a pet with you, be wary they don't go roaming about the place. The Shattered Moon welcomes many who would never share a road elsewhere.
Remember the rules, keep the peace, and you will find a warm fire and a full cup waiting for you.

Azazel Drakonis
Proprietor

Azazel Drakonis

Azazel is a fun-loving Miqo'te (mostly) from the Sagolii Desert. Raised in the pits, he earned a name for himself but it served to open up doors to what he might consider his primary profession these days. Some may have noted his large absence in the last year and what a year it was. His new found vigor in opening up the venue is propelled by so much more than opportunity. If you ask him sometime, he might actually tell you the truth.

Hikari Onishi
Whisperer of Secrets

Azazel Drakonis

Formerly a Hingan renegade, samurai princess from Bukyo who originally escaped to Eorzea to hide from her now broken clan.
Trained as a Samurai, merchant and a chef at a young age, she uses her skills to work at various establishments, and run them also. Currently she works to rebuild her clan from the broken pieces that she had left.

R'vera Buchmane
Whisperer of Secrets

Azazel Drakonis

Born as a half miqo'te, half xb'raal woman, and raised in the unforgiving frosts of Garlemald, she found her own way when she hightailed it to Eorzea and built her life from the ground up. Making many a friend along her adventures, she's ever ready to tackle whatever challenges come her way.

Tilly Littleleaf
Lanternbearer

Azazel Drakonis

This is the sort of Miqo’te who steps into a room like a summer breeze: soft, warm, and carrying just a hint of mischief if you’re payin’ attention. Born in the serene city of Kugane, she grew up with her toes in the water and her head full of stories, always listenin’ to the elders spin tales ‘bout heroes, spirits, and magicks older than the sea itself.

Mai'eti
Minstrel

Azazel Drakonis

A proud Au Ra warrior from the Steppe, he came to Eorzea after his tribe was defeated by the Warrior of Light in the Naadam. Right after arriving, he was promptly knocked flat by a Lalafell whose height he'd insulted. That same Lala begrudgingly took him under their wing. Though they clashed at first, the pair grew inseparable, and the stubborn warrior slowly became a kinder, more tolerant man.
After their bonding ceremony, Mai accidentally drank a Fantasia while rummaging through his spouse's potions and transformed into a Viera. He hated the fluffy new form at first, but eventually embraced it, feeling freer to express himself. Even after he could have changed back, he chose to remain a bun, no longer wanting to hide behind scales and bravado.
Together they ran a speakeasy — he played music and fumbled handling drinks while his spouse managed the bar. They enjoyed a quiet life until illness took his love too soon. Now lost and grieving, Mai wanders Eorzea searching for purpose, hoping one day to reopen their speakeasy in their honor.
